Dan Beer, performing at the BC Songwriters' Showcase, held at NY Grill & Bistro - 20204 Fraser Hwy, LangleyOn Wednesday, August 13th, the BCSSA’s Songwriter Showcase at NY Grill & Bistro in Langley, featured Dan Beer, accompanied by Jon & Kat Goheen.  As always when Dan performs, a sing-a-long good time was had by all in attendance!  

The fun and entertainment continued, as John Haynes, accompanied by Terri Breeze, Mello, Mike Kuwabara and Earl Travis Taylor performed their original songs at the BC Songwriters’ Open Mic.

All the while, Mani and Christina from NY Grill & Bistro, made sure that glasses and tummies were full… and a great evening was had by all!

Lisa Nicole – 03-26-14

At Wednesday’s Songwriter Showcase, we featured the songs of Lisa Nicole… she performed songs from her CD “It Got Ugly”, as well as premiering some of the new songs she wrote during her recent trip to Nashville !

Lisa Nicole - BC Songwriters Showcase - BCSongwriters.caHer performances were appreciated by the packed crowd at the Showcase, and her merch “booth” was busy after the Showcase, with folks buying Tees and CD’s, and getting them signed.

After the Showcase was the Open Mic portion of the evening, kicked off by Mike Kuwabara, followed by Dave Mercer, Bruce Rudolph and Dave Stanley.

A fun evening was had by all !!

Thanks, as always, to the fine folks at NY Grill & Bistro, (Mani and Belinda) for making everyone who attends our BC Songwriters’ Showcases feel so welcome, and providing a great venue for our organization.
