On Wednesday, July 30th, the BC Songwriters’ Songwriter Showcase featured Dave Mercer & Conrad Gregoire, swapping performances of their wonderful original songs.  

The BC Songwriters’ Open Mic followed, with Mundania band, Dan Beer, Delaney Rose, Alyssa Baker & Bruce Rudolph each performing a couple of their original songs.

Delaney Rose – 07-02-14

On Wednesday, July 2nd, the Songwriter Showcase featured the soulful songs of Delaney Rose at 7:30 pm, accompanied by Will Firstbrook, Don Striez & Lori Firstbrook.

Open Mic followed at 8:30 pm, with the crowd enjoying the songwriting and performing of Open Mic performers: Earl Travis Taylor (accompanied by Will Firstbrook), Warren Hunter, David Borys, John Haynes (accompanied by Terri Breeze), Bruce Rudolph,  Feona Lim (accompanied by Terri Breeze & John Haynes), and Dave Mercer !!!

There was such an overflowing list, that the kind folks at NY Grill & Bistro agreed to stay late and enjoy the show, along with us !!!

February 12th – Delaney Rose performed in the Songwriter Showcase at the NY Grill & Bistro.

Dave Mercer / Earl Travis Taylor – 01/12/14

New Year… A new venue… and a great time had by all !!!

The Songwriter Showcases kicked off 2014 with a Showcase headlined by Earl Travis Taylor & Dave Mercer, at our new home-base in Langley, the NY Grill & Bistro !

The first hour, as always, consisted of the Songwriter Showcase, with Dave and Earl sharing their songs… some new compositions inter-mixed with crowd favourites.

The second hour featured the Open Mic portion, with a number of performers sharing their original songs: Sara Bean, Kevin Wellman, Dan Beer & Delaney Rose. (No photos at her request.)

We will be holding the Songwriter Showcases at NY Grill & Bistro every second Wednesday, and hope to see you there soon !

Angela Harris & Friends – 07-17-13

The Songwriter Showcase last night featured three different performers… all talented performers and songwriters. The Evening started off with Angela Harris performing a mix of songs from her award-winning albums, as well as some new material. Angela then introduced us to (first) Savannah Quinn and (later) Amanda Thate – two singer/songwriters from Abbotsford. Each got up and performed a few of their songs. The Showcase was closed out with Angela performing a few more of her songs, before Bruce opened the stage for the Open Mic section of the evening.
